Education and children

Free at every level, genuinely accessible, and paired with the strongest protective duties the Empire imposes anywhere in its law.

Education in Hrossagrið is free, heavily funded and genuinely accessible at every level — the last word doing real work, since a fee-free system that is unreachable in practice is not accessible at all.

Historical education

The Empire does not teach a flattering version of itself

Historical education is accurate about the Empire’s successes, failures, injustices, conflicts and controversial decisions. Material written for younger children may omit graphic detail, but it may not falsify what occurred, and greater detail is introduced progressively with age. The Empire does not rewrite, erase or sanitise its history for political purposes.

Childcare

Free or effectively free, and not conditional on employment

Childcare is free or effectively free, plentiful, properly staffed and heavily funded. It is available regardless of whether the parents are employed — a deliberate refusal to treat childcare as a subsidy attached to work rather than as provision for the child.

Protection of children

Duties, not aspirations

Children receive exceptionally strong protection from violence, exploitation, neglect, institutional abuse and coercive control, and they must be heard in decisions affecting them.

Alongside enforcement, the Empire runs free and aggressively advertised public programmes teaching parenting, emotional regulation, respectful conflict, children’s rights, and how to recognise and break generational cycles of abuse. These are easy to join and presented as ordinary public education — not as therapy, and not as punishment for bad people.

In preparation. The structure of imperial schooling, examinations, teacher training and higher education is not yet written into the register.
